Job Hunt Away From Home & Make A Plan!

You can always start over.  Make adjustments and find out what works for you.  With that said, read on.

Home is supposed to be the place you relax, sit down on the comfy chair, kick off your galoshes and watch some tv.  If you do your job hunt at home, it becomes an unintentional place of business.  Then, every time you come home from shopping or running errands, you think of “what you should be doing.”

The absolutely Number 1 piece of advice all the pros have given is “Take it slowly.”

Do something different

Sometimes we get stuck in patterns that do nothing but make life more difficult than it already is.  Sometimes the trick is to change something up.  An example would be joining a networking and support group like this one.

Let 2007 pass in peace.

Don’t dwell, it just makes you feel older no matter your age.  You imagine what coulda, shoulda, or woulda and inevitably move on to how little time you think you have to git’r’dun.  Below are some things I think we all need to be reminded of.  They’re basic, you’ve heard them before, but you know what?  We tend to forget and have to relearn many of our lessons over the years.  So though it may seem a little mundane or cliche, I urge you to read it through, I promise it’s not one of my novels.
